Greenwich DeCicco & Sons

Developed in collaboration with DeCicco & Sons, this 20,000-square-foot luxury market was conceived as both a retail destination and a civic anchor within Greenwich. The architecture draws from the town’s historic industrial vernacular through richly detailed brick masonry, steel-framed glazing, stone accents, and articulated tower entrances that establish the project as a recognizable landmark while remaining grounded in its context. Warm natural materials, layered lighting, and refined detailing create a character that feels both timeless and contemporary.

A central design gesture was the transformation of the traditional loading and service zone into a European-inspired green plaza, a landscaped public space for coffee, lunch, and gathering overlooking the surrounding hills and greenery. By reimagining back-of-house infrastructure as civic space, the project elevates the experience of everyday retail into something more urban, social, and enduring.
